10/100mbps and 100/1000mbps distrub in regional network?

I own 2 servers 1 is ibm 2 is hp blades servers these servers are running on win-2003 32bit ,64 part operating systems respectivly. our regional network is connected to 10/100 switches. HP blades server is having the 100/1000 mbps nic cards. when i connect from HP edge server to regional network alliance will harm the ibm server to our regional network.
is there any difficulty for 10/100mbps and 100/1000mbps Answer:

Well, if you are going from the HP Blade Server that is 10/100/1000 to a change that is 10/100 you will lose the gb speed, and the HP Blade Server's network speed will be throttled down to that 100mb speed. However, you shouldn't knowledge any problems hooking up a 10/100/1000 server and running it past the change that is 10/100. Like I said, all that will occur is your edge change wont be able to function at that gigabit speed.
